We have some exciting events lined up for you this weekend.  From cars and bikes for the boys, to a Bridal Expo for the girls and some awesome music for everyone!

Classic Car and Bike Show

When:  22-23 January 2011

Where:  Timour Hall, Plumstead, Cape Town

This 11th classic annual event has become something of an institution in Cape Town amongst nostalgia buffs and fans.  The show will offer visitors some of the rarest can most beautiful cars and bikes in the Cape region.  This event is the main fundraiser for the International Police Association.  The money raised will not only go to internal development projects, but also to a charity selected by the committee.

Bridal Expo

When:  22-23 January 2011

Where:  Oakfield Farm, Muldersdrift, Gauteng

This is a priority on any bride’s “To Do List”.  Here you will find every wedding specialist you can think of!  Everything from florists, photographers, coordinators, dressmakers, antique cars, honeymoon destinations and so much more.  Exhibitors are handpicked; therefore brides can be assured of finding only the best.  After all, only the best is good enough for your special day!

Balkan Beat Box Live in Cape Town

When:  21 January 2011

Where:  Harrington Street, Cape Town

Tickets:  R180 – R200

Combining elements of hip hop, raga, Balkanoid horns, Greek guitars and more, the Balkan Beat Box’s eight piece live shows have become legendary!  They’ve been making crowds go wild around the world, and now you can also have the pleasure of having them in the Mother City.

Albert Frost Backsberg Picnic

Albert Frost has been voted as the best Blues guitarist in South Africa.  But he also has amazing rock music to offer audiences, and that is exactly why he has such a wide spectrum of fans. 

Acoustic Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concert

Where:  Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Cape Town

Singer songwriters Farryl Purkiss, Dan Patlansky and Inge Beckmann have an amazing acoustic show planned for audiences in one of the most beautiful venues in the Cape.  So make sure to book your tickets and get down to the Garden of Music for some amazing tunes.  The perfect way to end the weekend!
